Full-Time Receptionist - NADI
Animals Fiji is looking for a compassionate, organized, and dedicated individual to join our Savusavu team as a Receptionist & Veterinary Assistant. This full-time role combines front-of-house client service and administrative duties with hands-on support for our veterinary staff in caring for animals.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome and guide clients and their pets, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
- Assist the veterinary team during consultations and surgeries as needed, including taking vitals, preparing animals, and cleaning up.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments, medications, payments, and client information in our veterinary management systems.
- Clean and maintain kennels, cages, and clinic areas to hospital-level standards.
- Support adoptions, surrenders, and volunteer coordination.
- Uphold professional veterinary standards and support our mission to improve animal welfare in Fiji.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- A love for animals and a desire to make a difference in their lives.
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) with a friendly, personable demeanor.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a busy clinic setting.
- Above-average computer proficiency and basic accounting knowledge.
- Trustworthy, with a clear police record.
- Ability to follow and give instructions, and work well within a team.
- Previous experience in animal care, shelter work, or a veterinary setting is an advantage but not required.
KEY NOTE:
This is not a diagnostic role — you will assist but not diagnose or prescribe treatment.
You will report to the veterinary staff and clinic manager and follow their direction at all times.

Stock Clerk - NADI based
Animals Fiji is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and organized individual to join our Nadi team as a Stock Clerk. This full-time role is essential to ensuring our clinics are well-supplied, efficient, and able to deliver high-quality care to animals across Fiji.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Refill supplies in consultation rooms and surgery areas to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Process incoming deliveries, including unpacking, sorting, coding, and proper stock rotation.
- Maintain and restock over-the-counter medications and clinical supplies.
- Prepare and coordinate stock distribution for other Animals Fiji clinics (Lautoka, Labasa, Savusavu, and outreach teams).
- Conduct regular stocktakes across all clinics and outreach operations.
- Assist with customer enquiries and order fulfilment as needed.
- Create accurate labels for medications and supplies.
- Maintain organized storage systems and ensure stock levels are tracked correctly.
- Support overall clinical efficiency through strong inventory management practices.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Good computer skills, with the ability to use veterinary management systems.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Trustworthy, dependable, and able to handle stock responsibly.
- A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist across departments.
- Good communication skills and ability to assist with basic customer enquiries.
- Previous experience in stock control, logistics, or a similar role is an advantage but not required.
KEY NOTE:
This role is critical to maintaining clinical operations and supporting our veterinary teams nationwide.
You will work closely with medical staff and management and follow established stock control systems and procedures.
Accuracy and accountability are essential in this position.
