CAPTAIN HOOK

Abandoned at our Nadi clinic, Captain Hook overcame so much at such a young age to finally find his fur-ever home with a loving family in Fiji.

Captain Hook, originally Snowy, was brought  into our Nadi clinic as a two month old kitten in October 2017 because he eye was swollen and infected. He was taken into hospital were she started on treatment. It was discussed with the owner the options of treatment, including removing the eye, but due to his young age there were risks.

Unfortunately, after the initial visit and one other visit the owner stopped answering our calls and never came back for Captain Hook. So, we took Captain Hook into shelter and took on the weight of treatment and surgery. His surgery to remove the eye went well and Captain Hook soon became a shelter favourite thanks to his friendly, loving, and cheeky attitude. He was placed in foster and flourished.

Finally, 3 months after his abandonment he was adopted by a loving family. The family, who already are loyal clients of our clinic with their two dogs, became a family of six when they fell in love with Captain Hook. He is doing well and growing up to be the boss of the entire clan. We look forward Captain Hook's annual check-up visit in December.

Captain Hook touched so many lives so quickly, we hope you this little one eyed cat inspires you to help our furry friends where you can. Find out how you can help others like him.
